Donald Fader is the President and founder of Sterling Financial Services Group of North Carolina. He has 38 years of experience in mortgage lending with extensive experience in construction financing.

He has served the mortgage industry in a professional capacity as vice-president of The National Association of Mortgage Professionals (NAMB), President of the North Carolina State Association of Mortgage Professionals, industry advisory member of the State Regulatory Registry, member of the North Carolina Banking Commission, and was voted National Mortgage Professional of the Year.

Donald is married to the former Angela Barwick of Seven Springs and they have two grown sons, Corey and Gregory.

Greg brings over 15 years of mortgage experience to SMC Home Finance, which he joined in 2019. He previously held positions at KS Bank, First Carolina State Bank and RBC. Greg received his bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, coaching, volunteering, and spending time with his wife (Katie) and children (Rollin and Caroline).

Jodi Daniels is the Director of Loan Services and provides support to builders, borrowers and brokers with construction loans. Jodi grew up in Goldsboro, NC and obtained an associates degree in marketing from Wayne Community College and bachelor’s degree in business management degree from NC Wesleyan University. After 29 years in the insurance industry, she came to us on June 1, 2021. She is fur-mom to a beagle, Rufus, and cat, Tigger. She is active in the lives of her 3 nieces and her nephew. Jodi also enjoys hiking, kayaking and the beach.

Janette Griep is an Operation Manager at SMC Home Finance.  She works closely with clients and lending partner’s though out the loan process.  Janette was born and raised in Lisle, NY and moved to Goldsboro, NC due to a military assignment in 2003.  She has four beautiful daughters and stays busy with her six grandchildren.

Margaret Chase is the bookkeeper for SMC Home Finance.  In her spare time, Margaret crochets for Project Linus and to support her yarn habit.  She also volunteers for Days for Girls, and reading rounds out her all-consuming hobbies.
